Changes to the Low Emission Zone

Event date: 26 October 2020

From 26 October 2020, Low Emission Zone (LEZ) emissions standards will be tougher for heavier vehicles. Find out which vehicles will need to meet Euro VI standards or pay a daily charge to drive within the Greater London area.

TfL says that no new charges will be introduced until the end of February 2021.  This is to give the freight industry more time to meet the new standards as it faces intense demands from the coronavirus pandemic.

Check TfL website for details and updates.
